Certified as an AEO Customs Broker

On April 1, 2015, Muruwn Group was certified as a “Certified Customs Broker” by the Tokyo Customs Director for having established a system for cargo security management and legal compliance. The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) system aims to balance security assurance in international logistics with the smooth flow of goods. The World Customs Organization (WCO) has recognized the standards for this system, and it has been implemented globally. Currently, Japan has mutual recognition agreements with New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the EU, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.* As of May 2019, mutual recognition of AEO systems has been established, enhancing the security level in bilateral logistics and further streamlining domestic and international logistics.
