Maruwn's origins lie in the railway freight business.
The company began in the Meiji era with a timber transport business that ensured a stable supply of lumber from the Tenryū River basin to Tokyo via rail.
Over time, Maruwn has continued to evolve and expand its operations.
Today, our logistics-related businesses span multiple areas, including cargo transportation focused on storage and delivery for customers, international logistics operations in China and Vietnam, and energy transportation for gasoline and other fuels.

We provide storage and transportation services for a wide variety of cargo, including consumer goods such as refrigerated and frozen foods and daily necessities, production-related goods such as industrial machinery and raw materials, and construction-related materials. We also handle hazardous materials. Maruwn operates logistics centers across Japan. Leveraging the logistics network we have built over 130 years, we deliver high-quality logistics services, ensuring that goods reach the right place at the right time. One of our key strengths is our ability to provide optimized logistics solutions tailored to our customers' distribution and processing needs. We also offer five temperature-controlled storage solutions (ambient, cool, refrigerated, super-chilled, and frozen) to maintain product quality. Additionally, as a strategic partner, we provide logistics consulting services aimed at improving efficiency, enhancing quality, and reducing costs for our customers.

We transport petroleum products such as gasoline and kerosene, as well as LP gas, from refineries and oil terminals nationwide to gas stations and households.
Additionally, we handle the transportation of lubricants and chemical products. When transporting hazardous materials, we prioritize safety above all else, ensuring secure storage and transport, which has earned the trust of our customers.

Maruwn operates logistics services in China and Vietnam.
In China, our local subsidiaries in Shanghai and Tianjin serve as key hubs for warehousing and transportation operations.
In Vietnam, with bases in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, we are not only engaged in domestic logistics but also developing a multinational logistics network connecting Vietnam, Japan, and China.
